Faraone Mennella's MUSES

On Wednesday November 16th, Roberto Faraone Mennella and Amedeo Scognamiglio, founders of FARAONE MENNELLA, celebrated a Decade of their Fine Jewelry brand with a glamorous event featuring an exhibition of artistic portraits by Lorenzo Bringheli of Faraone Mennella's  10 Muses who inspired the Italian design duo's work in these past 10 years.  The party took place at the Loft and Garden in Rockfeller Center with a spectacular view of the Saint Patrick Cathedral and the New York Skyline.

Pamela Fiori, Olivia Chantecaille, Nina Griscom, Linda Fargo, Ann Caruso, Kimberly Skeen Jones, Carol Alt, Giovanna Battaglia, Patricia Field...and New York City.

New York

Before Faraone Mennella was even born, New York City was the ultimate dream of our teenage years, the  playground of our 20s, the exciting adventure and the comforting refuge.
Tonight, we celebrate a Decade of Faraone Mennella and all the wonderful people we met in the past ten years, under the same familiar Skyline we came to love through the eyes of an  unforgettable loving friend, Maria Macheda.

Pamela Fiori

A true legend in the editorial world crossed our path in March 2002.
Since then, her timeless elegance and joie de vivre enlightened our work,
reassuring our artistic direction with her intellectual honesty and
uncorrupted sense of Style.

Olivia Chantecaille

In March 2006, behind a Venetian mask we discovered the beauty and sweetness
of a real New York "Swan": From Capri to Saint Barth, NYC and Paris, Olivia never
fails to inspire our work with her endless creativity and worldly
sense of style. For jewelry designers, having a friend who calls you to say "I am feeling Rubies this season!" is a blessing and a honour!

Nina Griscom

In February 2004 a dashing tall, glamorous, blond maven walked into our Studio, with
style, sophistication and a star quality very few could boast. From that
moment on, we started to think of Nina when sketching new pieces, molding
new jewelry. When we hear Nina saying "Divine", of a new cuff or a necklace, is
for us the official seal of approval.

Linda Fargo

In 2003 we met the Visionaire behind the legend of Bergdorf Goodman: We
started our career with the sole intention of being part of that luxury
fantasy land of 5th Avenue; after all these years, we still live that dream when we see
Linda flying around the store with her unique sense of style, graceful
presence and creative personality.

                                                                             Ann Caruso

The very first power-stylist we met in NYC, in April 2003, on the set of a
glamorous fashion shoot. Ann breaths and lives Fashion, while keeping the
spontaneous allure of a beautiful woman passionate about life and elegance.

Kimberly Skeen Jones

While walking through the main floor of Bergdorf Goodman in 2008
we bumped into a statuesque Greek Goddess wearing our Jewels, as if her second skin.
Since then, many of our iconic pieces have been named after her, while we
came to learn the virtues of Yoga and the fascinating world of Sailing, Art
and Rock&Roll.

Carol Alt

In the Spring of 2006, Carol wore our jewelry in the pages of a fashion magazine.
Shortly after we met the loving and witty woman behind the Supermodel
legend, whose beauty enchanted Italy, where "Carol Alt" is synonymous of "Beautiful woman".

Giovanna Battaglia

Last year, in a breezy Fall afternoon at the Ritz in Paris, we finally met an
incredibly talented Fashion connoisseur, the true Ambassador of
Italian Style in the world. She is re defining the world of Fashion, with
her innate sense of chic, irresistible laughter and innocent sex appeal. Watch out, Gio is elegantly taking the Fashion universe by storm!

Patricia Field

We met Patricia Field on a Summer night in New York City in July 2001. She
is a poet and artisan of Fashion, who discovered, inspired and supported us the way a Greek
philosopher would do with his scholars.

The Muses all attended the glamorous event to wish Roberto and Amedeo a "Happy Anniversary", Italian style!
